Alf DaFrè
TopArredi is an official partner of Alf DaFrè, online and in-store. Our shop offers only original Alf DaFrè furniture, 100% Made in Italy, with the complete collection available in certified quality and design.
The story
Alf DaFrè was born from the meeting of two kindred spirits — Alf and DaFrè — each with a distinguished heritage. On one side, Alf, rooted in a 1950s woodworkers’ cooperative, where a young Oliviero Piovesana helped the region’s woodworking tradition and industry flourish; on the other, DaFrè, led by Rovilio, who founded his furniture workshop with a focus on meticulous detail and design innovation.
In 2008 the two companies merged to create Alf DaFrè, with a clear goal: to blend industrial efficiency with tailor-made craftsmanship.
Identity & values
Alf DaFrè is more than furniture: it’s the idea of “the Italian home” as a place where systems, accessories, and people live in harmony. The brand rests on three pillars:
- Sense of place: a deep bond with our land, traditions, and a landscape rich in history that inspires forms and materials.
- Innovation: not only aesthetics, but cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, Industry 4.0, customization, and a keen eye on contemporary living.
- Warmth: respect for people and relationships, and a considerate way of caring for every stage — from design through to customer service.

The company today
Alf DaFrè is a strong family-owned business, guided by leadership that combines experience, vision, and passion. Maria Cristina Piovesana leads the group, alongside Piero Piovesana and Flavio Da Frè, with the latter heading Design & R&D.
Our main facilities are in the Marca Trevigiana: the plants in Francenigo and Cordignano, together with Valdesign’s new headquarters (opened in 2024), cover an extensive area that has been redesigned with sustainability in mind and closely integrated with the local territory. We also have a flagship store in Milan that is the fullest expression of the brand’s identity, where products, style, and hospitality blend seamlessly with the setting.
Sustainability
For Alf DaFrè, sustainability isn’t optional — it’s a guiding principle. Here are some key aspects:
- Production: assessing environmental impact and protecting the local area, including water management and land stability where we operate.
- Process optimization: energy efficiency, emissions reduction, careful utilities management, streamlined logistics, and fewer external transports.
- Eco-friendly materials: water-based finishes, low-VOC/low-formaldehyde panels, a focus on recycling, recovery of off-cuts, and reduced packaging.
- Valuing people: codes of ethics, attention to employee and partner well-being, and relationships built on respect and community.

Made-to-measure customization
One of Alf DaFrè’s hallmarks is advanced personalization: every element is conceived to fit the space and the taste of the people who live in it. There are no off-the-shelf products imposed; every wardrobe, walk-in closet, bookcase, and wall system is designed to measure.
Thanks to proprietary technologies (UNO System, 100.1 System) and well-organized in-house facilities, the company combines artisan precision with industrial efficiency. This enables wide freedom in dimensions, finishes, and materials — without compromising lead times, quality, or the sustainability of the final product.
