Confirming the collection date

Before arriving at the warehouse, the customer must inform Customer Care of the preferred collection date. Advance notice allows the availability of the goods to be checked, the packages to be prepared and the loading process to be organised more efficiently.

Before collection: useful information for planning transport

To support the organisation of transport, TopArredi may provide the customer in advance with the key information relating to the order, such as the number of packages, approximate volume and weight of the ordered furniture.

These details help the customer select an appropriate vehicle or appoint a carrier capable of handling furniture and interior pieces correctly.

Checklist before collection

  • Confirm the chosen date with Customer Care;
  • Check the approximate number, volume and weight of the packages;
  • Arrange a vehicle suitable for transporting furniture;
  • Ensure that appropriate people or equipment are available for handling;
  • Share any useful loading information with the appointed carrier;
  • Arrive during the warehouse opening hours.

Suitable vehicle and transport arrangements

It is the customer’s responsibility to arrive with a vehicle suitable for transporting the ordered furniture, or to appoint a transport company of their choice. Even when carefully packaged, furniture requires attentive handling in order to preserve its condition.

A vehicle appropriate for the load

The vehicle must be suitable in terms of dimensions, load capacity, internal protection and the possibility of securing the packages correctly during transport. An unsuitable vehicle may increase the risk of damage, impact, compression or unsafe handling.

Carrier appointed by the customer

If the customer appoints an external carrier, it is important that the carrier is informed about the type of goods to be collected, the dimensions of the packages and the need to handle furniture and interior pieces with particular care.

Transport recommendation

We recommend using couriers or carriers experienced in the handling of furniture. Furniture items may be bulky, heavy or delicate, and require appropriate protection, securing and handling throughout the journey.

Checking the packages at the time of loading

At the time of collection, the customer or the appointed carrier must carry out a joint check with the warehouse team, ensuring that the packages loaded are correct and in good external condition.

Recommended checks

  • Check the number of packages handed over for loading;
  • Inspect the external condition of the packaging;
  • Report any visible irregularities immediately;
  • Ensure that the packages are loaded in a stable manner;
  • Confirm that the vehicle is suitable for the size of the order.

Before leaving the warehouse

Any concerns regarding the number of packages, the condition of the packaging or the loading method must be raised before completing the collection and leaving the warehouse.

An immediate check allows any irregularities to be handled more clearly and promptly.

Responsibility after the goods have been collected

Once collection has been completed and the goods have been loaded onto the customer’s vehicle or the appointed carrier’s vehicle, the onward transport is no longer under the direct control of TopArredi.

For this reason, it is important to organise transport carefully, using suitable vehicles and personnel capable of handling furniture and interior pieces correctly.

Damage or loss during transport

Once collection has been completed, TopArredi declines all responsibility for any damage to the products or loss of packages that may occur during transport arranged by the customer or by the carrier appointed by the customer.

Planning collection in advance

Should you have any questions regarding the number of packages, volume, weight, required vehicle or loading procedure, we recommend contacting TopArredi before the collection date. A preliminary check helps organise transport more effectively and avoid waiting times, operational difficulties or unsuitable vehicles.
