Interior design of the new TopArredi headquarters.
Furniture shop and design studio in Francenigo in via dei Fracassi 2/c in the province of Treviso.
We are our own customers. We bought a property that had been abandoned for several years, located in the centre of the village of Francenigo. We have entrusted to the architect Elia Marchioni (our collaborator) who realized the project of the interior decoration and followed all the phases of the building site.
Our idea was to create a furniture shop that was different from the traditional one. We wanted to excite and give a feeling of welcome as in a home; to make our design qualities perceived through an environment studied in finishes, furnishings, accessories and details that would arouse emotions, transmitting a sense of welcome and comfort.
This shop idea was born because we consider the initial design to be fundamental for the good result of a project. We opted for this solution also thanks to the proximity of our partner companies where we can accompany our customers to the showrooms to see the furniture we propose and offer.
We then met with the architect Elia, with whom we shared our principles so that he could realise the project we wanted to have. Elia initially provided us with representative images to understand our tastes and the style we wanted to achieve with the new shop. He then drew up a render with the distribution of the spaces with a proposal for the finishes and the layout of the furniture. Architect Elia was very thorough in sharing every choice with us and provided us with guidelines that would allow us to prefer one detail over another without compromising the success of the project. The environment designed was thought out down to the smallest detail: from the choice of tiles, plaster, furniture, accessories, ceiling lighting, plants, objects, curtains and signs.
TopArredi's new shop fully satisfied our initial ideas and could also be used for cultural events. In fact, thanks to the design of a versatile environment we organise events in our "living room" dealing with design and architecture topics open to everyone, where we share ideas and news.
From this experience we realised first-hand the importance of ideas and of a figure who knows how to translate them into the spaces in which we live well. Having a guide who knows how to show you the path to follow to achieve what you want is what makes the difference.
