Crossover glass design table with central base, by Tonelli Arredamenti. Available in different shapes and sizes, to adapt to any space and satisfy all tastes, this table has a glass top and structure, worked to guarantee thickness and great solidity. The edges of the top are rounded, the central pyramid joint is in metal and the base can be disassembled. The colors of the table and the central joint are customizable.

Structure:
made of 10+10 mm laminated glass with a metal pyramidal joint in the center of the base.
Top in extra-clear transparent glass:
made of 15 mm thick tempered glass
Top in smoked glass / bronze glass:
made of 10+6 mm laminated glass
Technical insight
Tempered glass: it is made through a heat treatment, in which the monolithic glass (float) is heated to high temperatures and then rapidly cooled by jets of air. This process cools the surface layers first, hardening them and keeping the inside warm longer. This thermal shock causes a strain on the surface which makes tempered glass six times more resistant than float glass.
Tempered glass is considered safety glass, because if it breaks, it forms tiny rounded fragments that are not very dangerous for people.
Laminated glass: it is made by coupling glass plates by inserting a film of plastic material in the middle. This film usually made of PVB (polyvinyl butyral) with a thickness of 0.38 mm or more, in the event of glass breakage, keeps the pieces attached to each other and prevents the formation of sharp fragments. Laminated glass is also called laminated glass.
